Extending the FM-202 Further
The Hakko FM-2022 Parallel Remover is the latest device in the line of the
Future Module series, a series of modular soldering, de-soldering, and
rework stations introduced by American Hakko.
The FM-2022 features revolutionary PARALLEL ACTION (patent pending)
and quick change composite tips that provide superior heat transfer and
thermal recovery at any temperature. Adjustable temperature
eliminates the need to purchase additional tips just to change
temperature, reducing your total cost of inventory.
Building on the FM-202 allows use of an industry first process gate
that identifies the tip set being used and configures the station
accordingly to ensure tip temperature accuracy. Additional
features included through the FM-202 are auto shutoff, and low
temperature alarm, all in a modular ESD
safe design

Revolutionary Parallel Action
The Hakko FM-2022 Parallel Remover uses revolutionary parallel action
between the tip ends allowing greater surface contact between the tip and
the component. This results in better, even heat transfer
Whether removing small chip components or larger SOP
components, the parallel action of the FM-2022 also allows for a more secure
hold on the component.
Quick Change Composite Tips
The Hakko FM-2022 Parallel Remover uses the same type of quick change
composite tip technology as the popular FM-202 Soldering Station.
Each tip set is encoded for recognition through the process
gate of the FM-202 to ensure tip temperature accuracy and comes with a
fixing collar to properly align the tips opposite from each other.
Switching between tips for different types of components has never been
easier.
